A Year Ago Today is the debut collection of Dutch writer Laura Hermans. Written over the course of a year, incited by heartbreak, they move through the seasons like grief. In this collection Laura recounts forms of love and self in equal parts. They find themself in another time, time after time. They turn through heartbreak and renewal, and give a lovely articulation to their lingering focus as it shifts, and dances, to show us how today came to be, far from a year ago, today.
